This class systematically works the entire body, toning your muscles, promoting weight loss, reducing stress, and increasing your overall vitality. Incorporating strength, balance, and flexibility, Mai Town Studio's Hot Yoga class teaches students how each pose stimulates the mind and restores and shapes the body.

Ready to sweat? Mai Town Studio's flow/power yoga class is a rigorous power yoga class with demanding strength postures that will have you moving, breathing and sweating! True to its name, this class focuses on building and engaging your core strength to support you in postures. Strengthens, balances, detoxifies and exhilarates the body and mind. Moderately paced vinyasa flow series, meaning breath is linked to movement. You will learn the fundamental postures and principles that create a successful and effective power yoga practice.

From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells or the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges. Mai Town Studio's yin yoga class is designed specifically for the yoga student who thrives on high energy classes. Yin yoga classes focus on gently stretching and healing the connective tissue rather than the structural alignment of bone and muscle utilizing a series of holding postures. Deep stretch yoga never requires strain or struggle. The postures are held from 2 to 5 minutes and the hip & shoulder areas are usually the primary focus. Students also focus on breathing naturally rather than on a guided, intentional breath pattern and leave class feeling relaxed yet energized.

Mai Town Studio's barre class mixes elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training. In each energizing and targeted workout, you'll use the barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements.

PiYo combines the strength training—and body lengthening—aspects of Pilates with the core training and stretching elements of yoga to create an entirely new workout experience. It's low impact and adaptable to all ages and fitness levels. Unlike traditional Pilates and yoga sessions, PiYo is set up like a cardio class, designed to burn calories and make you sweat. Choreographed sequences that are sped up to maximize results provide PiYo participants with a fun routine to master while listening to upbeat, motivating music. Besides a yoga mat there is no additional equipment used during a PiYo class. Participants actually incorporate their own body weight into a series of dynamic moves.
