Dan's been practicing yoga since 2008 & teaching yoga since 2009. Yoga has provided him with the balance he needed in his life to finish losing massive amounts of weight saving his life from obesity. He lost right at 120 pounds from 2004-2009 & continuing his practice he's kept the weight off. Dan has also attempted to push past the mental & physical limits of his practice. As a Yoga practitioner & instructor Dan attempts the hard work of awareness & equanimity. Providing students with a challenging yet very safe immediate moment experience is paramount to his teaching style.
Dan's meditation teaching lineage traces back 2500 years ago to Gautama Buddha and his yoga teaching lineage traces back to Lahiri Mahasaya who lived from 1828 to 1895.
Dan teaches Multiple Styles including the Hot/Bikram Method, Vinyasa/Flow/Power Yoga, Pilates, Barre and Yin Yoga. He teaches all his classes using a Yin and Yang energetic approach. This also includes but is not limited to, Meditation, Core Strengthening, Muscle Fiber Activation & Breathing Exercises.
